I've always wanted a blog, but for whatever reason (mostly laziness), I've put it off for too long.
Finally, here I am, battling the same fear that haunts me in every new venture - where to begin.
So, how about an introduction?

Hello! My name is Lucy Coates, I am 17 years old, and I am in love with Disney, tic tacs and my iPod. I eat nutella from the jar and in most situations, I struggle to find the right words to say.

This blog is a way to share thoughts, ideas and dreams that I have in greater depth than I can by any other means. I also want to be able to share fun and sometimes silly little recipes and DIY ideas, and review everything from books to concerts. And as I set out on a year filled with so many scary and exciting changes and challenges, I want to be able to document even the little things.

I'm already fully prepared to regret whatever my first post is, so if the future me is reading this; I'm so sorry - but no matter what you wrote, you were always going to feel embarrassed.
